Sonia-Rose began writing poetry in 2014 to cope with mental health challenges and connect with others who shared similar experiences.
While Sonia-Rose studied at the University of Valley Forge, she shared poetry at youth events. She received a Bachelor of Arts in Intercultural Studies—Education in 2018. Sonia-Rose shared poetry on Instagram and Writco after she graduated from the University of Valley Forge.
